Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we do not, and why the unscrambler never sees your letters.
The short version
The word unscrambler runs entirely inside your browser. The letters you type are never transmitted to a server, never logged and never stored, because there is no server-side search to send them to.
What is stored on your device
One preference is saved in your browser’s local storage: your light or dark theme choice. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time by clearing site data. Dictionary chunks are cached by your browser like any other static file, which is what keeps repeat searches instant.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled on this deployment, they record aggregate page views and referrers. They do not record the letters you enter, because those are never part of a request.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies of its own. Any cookies present come from third-party embeds, if the operator of this deployment has added them.
Children
The site is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page.
